Victoria’s longest running wine and food festival is on again from 5-6 May.
The annual Grampians Grape Escape will showcase some 30 wineries (including us!), as well as cooking demonstrations, masterclasses, music, gourmet food, the Barrique Auction, grape-stomping, and lots of fun for the kids – it has it all.
Grampians Estate has been exhibiting since 1996 in which time the festival has grown into a major regional event.
Sample award-winning Grampians wine
For wine lovers, some 30 wineries from the Grampians, Pyrenees and Henty wine regions will be showing their wares at the festival.
From our humble beginnings on a shared stand, you’ll now find Grampians Estate on a double stand showcasing our expanded wine range of sparklings, red and white wines, highlighted by the 2014 Rutherford Sparkling Shiraz and 2015 Streeton Reserve Shiraz.
Meet a celebrity chef or two
This year, the festival has teamed up with chef and host of the popular TV series River Cottage Australia, Paul West. PLUS one of MasterChef AU’s most loved contestants and friendly face of channel 10’s TV hit, The Cooks Pantry, Matt Sinclair.
Both chefs will be holding masterclasses and cooking demonstrations using the finest local and seasonal produce.
Try a masterclass
A variety of food and wine masterclasses will be held during the weekend. This year, Tom is representing the Grampians winemakers in a session called ‘Reds of the Region – Grampians and Pyrenees Wineries’
When: Sunday 6 May
