Sella Vinoteca is an Italian and Mediterranean restaurant, bistro, wine bar and cellar located in the Newmarket area of Randwick where the old horse stables of the Inglis family were located for more than a century. Sella means saddle in Italian, which is a place to sit, referencing the old stables and it is also a phonetic version of cellar.
We believe in seasonality and simplicity. Creating food with great seasonal produce and offering it up with wine that leans to minimal intervention, lo-fi practices, allowing the provenance to speak for itself. Fabio and Marco bring their passion, love and knowledge of all things wine and food to this fantastic precinct overlooking the leafy Inglis park with its heritage listed Moreton Bay Fig tree.
