An exciting new vintage is underway at Grampians Estate, with three tonne of chardonnay grapes picked last week for a new sparkling Blanc de Blanc.
More than 500 litres of juice was extracted per tonne of grapes, which will create around 2,000 bottles of quality sparkling.
The wine makers at Grampians Estate adopt the ‘methode traditionalle’ process to produce the best quality sparkling, which means you’ll need to wait at least three years before including this in your grampians wine tasting experience. The process includes primary and secondary fermentation, where it will remain ‘on lees’ for at least three years before it is ‘disgorged’ and prepared for sale.
We look forward to welcoming this to our product range in 2021!
